Hi there, Brooke!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your
FANTASTic adventure will be here before you know it and I know you must be looking forward to a week at sea which will undoubtedly be filled with non-stop fun and entertainment! I always get back from a Disney Cruise Line vacation and literally need a vacation from that vacation! But one of the best things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation is that you can make it as busy as you want or as relaxing as you want…and you can’t go wrong with either!
I was
pregnant on the very first Disney Cruise Line vacation that we went on, and while they did not require me to show documentation about how far along I was, I did have it with me. I simply asked my doctor for a signed note that I would be able to provide if documentation was requested. While Disney Cruise Line does not require documentation from a doctor, it was easy enough for me to get it from my doctor and I felt better having it with me. But, no, it is not required to show documentation from a doctor stating how far along you are, so as long as you are less than 24 weeks along prior to embarkation or not entering 24 weeks while onboard, you are set to go! I do recommend grabbing some SeaBands and bringing them onboard with you (or they do sell these in the onboard gift shops), but they were a major lifesaver for me! For whatever reason, being on the ship while pregnant I often felt a little seasick and the SeaBands helped tremendously!
Wishing you a magical adventure at sea with many memories made! And, while you are onboard, go ahead and book your next Disney Cruise Line vacation and bring along the new little Mouseketeer!
Happy Sailing!
