Hey Laura!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your excellent question about Walt Disney World Resort attractions. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I visited the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks while 36 weeks pregnant. While I don’t recommend traveling that far along without your doctor’s prior approval, I can tell you that I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of rides and attractions I was able to enjoy while so far along!
In fact, there are currently
only 29 attractions, including those at the two Walt Disney World Resort water parks, that include expectant mother advisories. Please visit the link to see a full list of attractions that expectant mothers should not experience.
You may be happy to know that
Dumbo the Flying Elephant is not a part of this list. You will be able to enjoy Dumbo the Flying Elephant while pregnant. Please keep in mind that Dumbo the Flying Elephant is classified as a “spinning” ride. If you become easily nauseated on spinning rides, or while pregnant, you may become dizzy on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. As always, please consult with your doctor before you travel to Walt Disney World.
I think you will be happy to now that many other iconic Walt Disney World Resort attractions are safe for you to enjoy, such as:
“it’s a small world”
Peter Pan’s Flight
Spaceship Earth
…and many more!
Laura, I hope I have helped answer your question. If you require any further clarification before your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please visit the Moms Panel again. We are all EARS!
Wishing you a Magical Vacation and Pregnancy,
Priscila
