If you are preforming at Disney springs for a school event what type of shoes should I wear?

Hi there, Annabell! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. I see that it's almost time for you to take the stage at Walt Disney World Resort, so let's jump right in to get the information you need!

I am sure you and your classmates are beyond excited to perform at Disney Springs. Performing arts groups from all over the world get to experience this super-cool performance opportunity through the Disney Imagination Campus. The folks at the Imagination Campus help student groups coordinate their travel to The Most Magical Place on Earth for a memorable and magical trip. My daughters got to take the stage at the Springs a few years ago with their dance studio, and also learn from a Broadway choreographer at a workshop just for their group--they absolutely loved it!

Annabelle, generally performers in these programs are expected to wear full-soled or split-soled shoes--no bare feet, socks, flip-flops, half-shoes (turners), or athletic shoes (except for dance performances like a hip-hop routine). I suggest checking with your director or coach to clarify your footwear options, as they will be the main point of contact with the staff at Disney Imagination Campus.

Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful experience doing what you love on the stage at Walt Disney World! Please reach out again if our planDisney team can help with any other questions.

    Break a leg!
