    Hello! Have all the preferred rooms at Port Orleans Riverside been refurbished, or just some of them? Meaning the new princess and the frog tourqoize and coral themeing? Thank you :)

     Welcome to planDisney, Samantha. I'm so glad you stopped by! It sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How exciting! 

     My family loves Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. We enjoy the rural Louisiana theming, the lush landscaping, the peaceful Sassagoula River, and the heaps of Southern hospitality! My 6-year old is a big Tiana fan, so she especially loves The Princess and the Frog touches throughout this unique Disney Resort hotel.

     All the rooms in both Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend have recently been refurbished to include hardwood laminate flooring, elevated bed frames, and some new soft furnishings. My family and I have found the refurbishments to be really great! The refreshed rooms feature lots of storage space, which is important for my family of 5, and subtle nods to The Princess and the Frog, which we all appreciate. 

     A visit to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside calls for a quick walk along the Sassagoula River to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. There you'll find freshly-baked, Mickey-shaped, Tiana-approved beignets at Scat Cat's Club - Café. When my family stays at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, we're always sure to pick up beignets at least once. They make a yummy breakfast in our room before we leave for our theme park adventures!
