    If I get a preferred room at the pop century so I can be close to the main building and also close to food court does it cost extra for the preferred room and how much more if it does cost more 4 the prefrred room then a regular one

    Hi Joni!

         Pop Century Resort is my all time favorite Value Resort in Walt Disney World! The preferred rooms at Pop Century are the 60's and in part of the 50's and 70's. All that a preferred room means is that that they are in the section closest to the main building (Classic Hall) where the food court is located and it is closer to the bus transportation to the Parks. The design and layout of a preferred room is exactly the same as a standard room in Pop Century.  Currently the preferred rooms are an extra $15.00 a night plus tax.
