Is there a preferred room location in the new AOA Little Mermaid section? Should I make a special room request? Are there any corner rooms that might be brighter for example?

    Hi, Kimberly!

I cannot wait to stay at the Art of Animation!  It looks amazing and guests have been loving it.

All the rooms in the Little Mermaid section are considered Standard Rooms.   All of the rooms have just the one window next to the door, and all the rooms are the same size.

If you look at the resort map HERE you can get an idea of the resort layout.  If you want something very quiet, I would request Building 8.  If you will have a car, I would request Building 9.  For a nice lake view, you may want to try for Building 7.  It all just depends on what you enjoy in a room.  Any room you get is going to be very nice and brand new!  It is a bit of a walk to to Animation Hall from the Little Mermaid section, so allow enough time if you are catching a bus.

Enjoy your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort!  I hope your stay is great fun for your whole family.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
