We prefer to breakfast in our room and hit the parks early! Are there any QS meals or snacks which are suitable to keep for the following morning's breakfast? Where do you recommend we buy them? Staying @ POR with DDP. Thank you so much for all the advice!

    Hi Jill,

I know what it's like to want to get to the parks early.  Who wants to spend time eating when there is so much fun to be had?!

Your resort room has a small refrigerator, so you could definitely purchase small bottles of milk and portable bowls of cereal, the individual servings, to have in your room.  If you're looking to save money and want healthier options, you could bring your favorite cereal with paper bowls and just purchase the milk.  If you're looking for a heartier option, oatmeal packets are great. Your coffee maker can be used to heat the water needed.

There are also usually bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit available at the food court.  If the bagels aren't out, ask a cast member working at the bakery to get you one.  Sometimes they're only put out during breakfast hours, but my guess is that if you ask, they'll give you one.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
