Pre-Covid, a taxi could drop off Non-Hotel guests at the Boardwalk Inn or Beach Club to access the international gateway entrance at Epcot. Is this still allowed? If not, is there any other way to access the “back door” to Epcot on foot?

    Hi Maureen! Welcome to planDisney!

Don't you just love EPCOT? Everyone in my family agrees that it is our favorite of the four Walt Disney World theme parks ... even my little ones! And now, with the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival taking place, you are in for even more adventure and beauty!

With current precautions in place, only Guests with hotel reservations or dining reservations are guaranteed entry into the parking lots of Disney Resorts Collection hotels. On a recent visit, my family and I dined at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera for breakfast at Disney's Riviera Resort, then hopped on the Disney Skyliner to enter the International Gateway entrance for EPCOT. We took a ride-sharing service over to Disney's Riviera Resort early that morning but had to show proof of our dining reservation at the parking lot entrance before we were admitted.

If you don't have dining reservations for an EPCOT area hotel, you will need to head to the main entrance. We found that getting to EPCOT about an hour early allowed us to be among the first people in the theme park. Once inside, you will be closest to Test Track or Soarin' Around the World, but you can also head to Frozen Ever After if you plan to get these popular attractions in first.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Maureen! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
