Hello Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing your great question our way!
I’m delighted to hEAR that you’re planning a trip to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
Thank you very much for inquiring about the current protocols. While the
Disneyland Resort recently updated the facial covering requirement for fully vaccinated Guests, unvaccinated Guests age 2 and older are still required to wear a facial covering indoors unless actively eating or drinking. Also, the state of California strongly recommends that unvaccinated Guests obtain a negative Covid test prior to their visit. However, there is no requirement for individuals to obtain a negative Covid test in order to enter the theme parks. Lastly, regardless of their vaccination status, all Guests are required to wear a facial covering while on the bus transportation to and from the
Toy Story Parking Area.
And, while park capacity seems to have increased since the initial reopening, attraction wait times have continued to be manageable. Here’s a tip for navigating dining locations as capacity increases. In the morning, before you’ve entered the parks, place several
Mobile Food and Beverage Orders for later in the day. I like to do this when I’m in line for security! Choose your preferred Quick Service location and pickup window. Later in the day when your pickup window arrives, select the “Prepare My Order” button and wait for the text alert that your order is ready for pickup. Then, head to the pickup counter to retrieve your order. You’ll skip the standby line and be eating in no time.
I hope this information helps. Please head back to planDisney if you have any more questions!
