Can you prebook a Minnie van/car before getting on property? Wanting picked up at MK and taken to the Poly after the fireworks on April 12th.

    Hi Rebecca!

The Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft is a convenient transportation option offered at Walt Disney World Resort. These vehicles are themed after Minnie Mouse, adding a touch of Disney magic to your journey.

To book a Minnie Van, you can use the Lyft app. However, you can't pre-book a Minnie Van for a specific time in advance. Instead, you'll need to request one when you're ready to depart from your destination. Simply open the Lyft app while you're at the Walt Disney World Resort, select the Minnie Van option, and input your destination (in this case, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort). You'll then see the estimated cost, time of arrival, and trip duration before confirming your request. Keep in mind that availability may vary depending on demand, so it's a good idea to request your ride a bit in advance, especially during peak times like after fireworks.

However, considering your destination is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort from Magic Kingdom Park, there are alternative transportation options worth considering. The Disney Monorail Transportation is a fantastic choice for this route. It's a quick and convenient way to travel between these two locations, offering a scenic view along the way. Plus there is no additional cost.

If you prefer to stretch your legs and enjoy a stroll, there's also a walking path connecting Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Village Resort. While it's a bit of a longer walk compared to taking the Monorail, it's a lovely option for those who enjoy exploring on foot.

Ultimately, whether you choose the Minnie Van, Monorail, or walking path, you'll find convenient transportation options to suit your needs for getting from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort after enjoying the fireworks.
