    do you have to pre book for jedi training?

    Hi, Reade!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I sense that the Force is strong with your family.  With the upcoming opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, you certainly have chosen an exciting time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!  I know I cannot wait to travel to the Planet Batuu and live out my own Star Wars adventure.

    In addition to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Disney's Hollywood Studios also offers many other ways to experience a galaxy far, far away.  One of the most popular Star Wars experiences at Disney's Hollywood Studios is Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple.  If you have younglings ages 4-12 in your travel party, you can sign them up for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple on the day of your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  These Force-sensitive children will be taught by a Jedi master to use their skills in a battle with the Dark Side.

    Please be aware that registration for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple begins when Disney's Hollywood Studios opens for the day, and spots do tend to fill quickly.  It was recently announced that extra, Extra Magic Hours would be offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios this fall.  From September 1, 2019 - November 2, 2019, Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests will have access to Disney's Hollywood Studios from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.  It has not yet been confirmed if registration for Jedi Training: Trails of the Temple will begin at 6:00 a.m., but I would suggest arriving as early as possible if you wish to sign your children up.  In the meantime, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news surrounding the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening.
