A Disney cruise is my family’s favorite vacation for many reasons, but as a mom who has been sailing since her current tween and teenager were babies, I especially love the ease of it all. Somehow (probably magically!), Disney Cruise Line actually made vacationing with smaller children an enjoyable experience, and left me thinking that I could probably do this again?! So we’d book another one, and thus, I have plenty of stroller experience as a result! I would be happy to answer your question about bringing a pram (stroller) on board!
You are absolutely more than welcome to bring a stroller on board your Disney cruise. In fact, Disney Cruise Line
recommends bringing your own, although there are a limited number of extras on board that are available for guest use, should you forget. These extra strollers are available on a first-come, first -served basis, and my recommendation is not to rely on them if you know you’re going to be using your stroller during your entire trip.
Disney Cruise Line recommends bringing a smaller, less bulky stroller on board that can be folded easily. From my own experience, I also recommend the same, as it’s easier to navigate through hallways, elevators, and other areas around the ship where guests may gather. A smaller, foldable stroller is also much easier to store inside your stateroom.
Guests traveling with babies and toddlers are also able to request
Pack ‘n Plays, bottle warmers, toddler bed rails, and diaper genies to their stateroom after logging in to their reservation in the “Special Requests” section of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or on the Disney Cruise Line website. You’re also able to request baby food to be mashed, if needed, from your Dining Team on board. Plus, there’s a nursery on board called
“it’s a small world” nursery! available for reservations at an additional charge, where experienced Youth Counselors can care for children 6 months-3 years of age, if caregivers need some adult time. These Youth Counselors are truly as friendly as our beloved Mary Poppins!
