We have a PPO reservation for BOG at 8:40 for our upcoming Disney vacation but also really want to see the opening show... is there any way this is possible?

Greetings, Lauren! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. And now, let us present - your question!

I'm so excited for you to experience the beauty of a meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant! It truly is like stepping into Beast's castle. And breakfast is such a treat. I especially love the decadent pastries served with your meal. Plus, now that The Master's Cupcake is on the breakfast menu, you get to have some of the Grey Stuff to start your day! It really is delicious!

It was a great idea to make a reservation for pre-park opening to get a jump start on your Disney day. Your 8:40 a.m. reservation will make it tough to catch the "Let the Magic Begin" show, which starts promptly at 8:55 in front of Cinderella Castle, but you never know when a little pixie dust will come your way. I think I'd stop by the restaurant check-in stand before your reservation and ask the Cast Members there if you can run over to see the show and then come back. I honestly don't know what they'll say, but in my experience, Cast Members will often do whatever they can to make your experience as magical as it can be.

Lauren, I hope this helps you kick off your day at the Walt Disney World Resort. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
