Welcome to planDisney, Matthew! You must be so excited about your trip to Walt Disney World Resort coming up in just a few days. Your vacation coincides with the opening day of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts on January 13 so hopefully, you've got some plans to spend some time at EPCOT so you can enjoy the
Food Studios and the artistry in action!
According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, anything that is pulled behind a wheelchair or ECV is not permitted inside the Theme Parks. This rule is in place in order to protect the safety of yourself and other guests as well as the flow of traffic in busy areas. If your caregiver is also in need of a mobility device, they are welcome to
rent one at the Theme Parks or for the length of your stay from a Disney Featured Provider. If you have any questions about your needs for your upcoming trip, please feel free to contact
Services for Guests with Disabilities so they can talk you through what specific accommodations are available. They are available through e-mail or over the phone, whichever works best for you!
I hope this answers your question, Matthew, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
