Welcome to planDisney, Ariel!
Thank you for visiting us today with an excellent question! As a fellow South American visitor, I have also had to postpone a visit with Mickey twice in the past 12 months, so I cannot wait to go back to the magic!
It is not easy to make plans for international travel at this time, and as you are aware,
tickets impacted by the temporary closure of the Walt Disney World Resort last year were automatically extended to use any date through September 26, 2021. Unfortunately, they cannot be extended a second time, and although you will not be able to use your tickets by this date, you may apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date. If you have bought theme park tickets via a travel agent in Argentina, you will have to contact them for assistance. The same applies if you have purchased tickets from an online travel agency. You are also welcome to contact the Walt Disney World Resort in Argentina by calling (011) 5354-8119.
planDisney tip: As you prepare for your visit, I recommend learning about
Disney MagicMobile, a new feature that allows iPhone, Apple Watch, and Google Pay-enabled Android phone users to enter the parks by holding their mobile device near an access point (with valid admission linked to
My Disney Experience). This is a great alternative for Guests who do not wish to use a
MagicBand or a ticket card during their visit.
Ariel, did you know that
planDisney is also available in Spanish? Stop by next time, and my fellow Spanish-speaking panelists we will be happy to answer your questions in your beautiful language!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
