planDisney, James. First off, I'd like to thank you for your service and sacrifice. Freedom is most certainly not free and I will never take that for granted.
Here at planDisney, we are a group of regular park goers, much like yourself, who love sharing our knowledge and expertise about planning awesome Walt Disney World vacations. Because we are also Guests, we aren't privy to the behind-the-scenes knowledge that would be needed to know when special promotions might be coming out. I'm sure that the answer that you have previously read had all of the up-to-date information that the particular panelist knew at that time.
I know that so many people, including yourself, are eagerly awaiting an announcement about military discounts on Walt Disney World vacations for 2022. In the past, information about the Disney Armed Forces Salute has come out in late September. As of right now, Disney has not announced if or when the special promotions for next year might return. My best advice is to keep checking the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website for updates.
