Hi Debbie!
Welcome to planDisney! There is nothing quite like planning for your
Walt Disney World vacation! With everything that goes into the process, getting a head start is a great idea. Let's jump into your question and help you plan for your stay!
Typically,
hours for all four of the theme parks are released roughly 60 days in advance. If you head over to the Walt Disney World website today, there are hours posted through the middle of July. For
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, these are also posted alongside the park hours. These special hours only happen at select parks on select nights, so you'll want to check your travel dates to see if they are offered during your trip. These extra park hours are only offered to Guests staying at Deluxe Disney Resorts or other select hotels at this time. I suggest checking if your resort qualifies in advance.
For
Disney After Hours events, these dates may be known months in advance. For example, Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT have event dates planned through September. These types of special ticketed events usually are known earlier on, since Guests need to purchase tickets in advance.
Debbie, I hope you have an amazing time during your upcoming stay! Getting a chance to experience the theme parks lit up under the night sky is a truly magical experience. You'll also usually experience lower wait times at attractions during Extended Evening Theme Park Hours and Disney After Hours events. This is one of the biggest perks to attending either of these offerings.
Have a magical day!
Greg
