We are possibly staying at Fort Wilderness our next trip and planning a breakfast at Cape May Cafe, then spending most of the day at Epcot. What is the best way to get to Cape May from Fort Wilderness? Was thinking, boat to MK, then bus to Beach Club.

    Hi Lynn!
I just love the Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort besides having an awesome array of food, it offers a relaxed atmosphere and a lot time to interact with the Characters!  My son and I ate there in August of 2009 and we had an incredible time.

The way that you described in your question would work just fine to get to Cape May Cafe from Fort Wilderness, but keep in mind that it will take a minimum of 45 min to 1 hour.  I will give you three other options to get there with the approximate travel times:

    1. Taxi from Fort Wilderness directly to to the Beach Club--this takes around 20 min and costs around $20 with tip, but it is the quickest way if you are pressed for time.

    2. Bus from Fort Wilderness to Epcot and then transfer to a bus going to the Beach Club Resort--this takes about 30-45 min depending if you do not have to wait long for the next bus to come.

    3. Boat from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom, then Monorail to the Ticket an Transportation Center (TTC) and transfer to Monorail going to Epcot.  At Epcot, take a bus to the Beach Club Resort or enter Epcot and walk to the International Gateway (between United Kingdom and France) and take a Friendship Boat or walk to Beach Club--this is the longest way and could take up to 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get there, but it is a very scenic route.

I hope that your travels to the Cape May Cafe are magical no matter what route you choose to get there!
