I am possibly interested in the near future (possibly 2 - 3 years) of the Disney Vacation Plan. Is there anyway to stay at one of the locations on an upcoming trip to WDW-FL? To see how it is and check it out for a weekend?

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

Yes, you can stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort on your next trip to Walt Disney World. At each of the Disney Vacation Club resorts, some accommodations are available for booking using traditional payment method such as credit card to those who are not Disney Vacation Club members. Simply search online for the resort that you are interested in, and you should see room rates displayed in dollars. If you would like to speak to someone at Disney to make your reservation, you can call them at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).

Staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort on your next vacation is a great way to consider if membership in Disney Vacation Club is right for you and your family. I also encourage you to visit the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center at Walt Disney World and take the Open House tour. You will be able to tour a villa and have your specific questions about Disney Vacation Club answered by a guide. This is a very low-key experience and I think that you will find that it is helpful for you as you consider membership in Disney Vacation Club. From the link I provided, you can schedule an Open House tour online, or you can do so by calling 877-382-7826.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Lisa. If you do decide to become a Disney Vacation Club Member, it will be so magical the first time you hear those words, "Welcome Home."
