Could you possibly confirm the prices of adults and children's ponchos at WDW and whether if they are damaged in the parks, they are replaced free of charge? Many thanks 😊

Hi there, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're planning an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm so glad you've stopped by to ask this great question today! While I've heard that rain is a common occurrence for "you lot across the pond," we can often find ourselves in the midst of some blustery weather in Florida, as well! It's wise to be prepared for the weather, and having a poncho on hand is a great idea.

As I'm sure you know, prices of merchandise at Walt Disney World Resort are subject to change. At this time, you can expect child ponchos to be about $10 and adult ponchos to be about $12. In my experience with most merchandise at Walt Disney World Resort, if there is an immediate issue, defect, or malfunction, a helpful Cast Member will do their best to make it right, which can include a refund or replacement. In this case, it would be helpful to have your receipt on hand. You're welcome to review the full return policy on this helpful website, for any further clarification.

A few other weather-related items that you may find helpful include:

    • A waterproof cover for your stroller
    • A small fan or misting fan
    • Sunscreen
    • Cooling towel
    • Insulated refillable water bottle
    • Waterproof shoe covers (this is a new one to me!)
Did you know that you can find many of these items within the Disney Theme Parks? Many merchandise locations have essentials available for purchase if you happen to forget something during your vacation. If you have a little one in tow, you can visit a Baby Care Center at any of the Disney Theme Parks to purchase essentials for little ones, like children's medication, diapers, wipes, deodorant, snacks, and more! Baby Care Centers are not only perfect for feeding and changing your little ones - they're also a great place to escape the elements, regroup, and relax indoors for a few minutes.

Michelle, no matter the weather, I think you'll find that you'll have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop back by planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have!

    TTFN! Ta ta for now!
