Welcome back to planDisney! You are looking to load up on all of the magic at the Disneyland Resort, and I’m here for it!
When my family and I experienced the
Paint the Night parade during an 8:30 PM showtime, it took at least 20 minutes for the performers to reach Main Street, U.S.A. So, while it may be possible to catch a glimpse of the parade, you will have to quickly navigate the crowd to get to your
Fantasmic! viewing area. It’s important to note the location of your viewing area and the arrival time listed on the voucher that you receive with the
dining package, as early and late arrivals will not be accommodated.
To reduce stress, I recommend attending the Fantasmic! viewing at 9:00 PM first, then catch the second run of Paint the Night, which is typically at 10:30 PM. This way, you can comfortably secure your spot in the reserved viewing area. Then, it leaves you with a decent buffer time to find a spot for the parade.
