Is it possible to watch Magic Kingdom's New Years Eve fireworks from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort if we are not staying there but dine at 'Ohana or Fort Wilderness by dining at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue?

Hey, howdy, hey, and thank you for visiting us at planDisney. New Year's Eve has some of the best fireworks at both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. The hard part for me is deciding where I want to ring in the New Year.

You do not need to dine or be a Guest staying at any Disney Resort Hotel to watch Fantasy in the Sky fireworks from the beach or restaurants at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. All you need to do is get there and find a space to be amazed at the pyrotechnics in the sky above Cinderella Castle. These fireworks are truly spectacular. Another great view is from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Marina. You have lots of viewing options around the Seven Seas Lagoon.

planDisney Pro Tip: One year we rented a pontoon boat and set off on a New Year's voyage around the Seven Seas Lagoon where we dropped anchor near Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to enjoy the sky lighting up as the clock struck midnight, January 1.

I hope this information helps you plan the best Disney New Year's Eve ever. Please write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
