Is it possible to visit the Tower of Terror without riding the ride?

    Hi Suzanne!

While The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a SUPER popular ride; my daughter LOVES it...it does a real number on my stomach.  I just don't like the feeling it gives me.  However, I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority because most of my Disney Mom pals really enjoy it and beg me to ride when we're at Disney's Hollywood Studios together.

I've explained how I feel about it because I usually get on line with my daughter just so I can see the queue.  The hotel lobby is an actual lobby!  It really is an amazing venue created by Disney's Imagineers.  Every single item in the lobby looks as if it has been there, untouched, for years.  I've gotten on that line several times and still find new things I hadn't noticed on previous visits.  That is one line I don't mind waiting on at all.  You'll find that you can opt out of the ride at the moment of truth....when you arrive at the elevator.  Tell the creepy Castmember on duty that you don't want to ride.  They'll show you the exit - no issues at all.

I hope you enjoy The Hollywood Tower Hotel!  Even the grounds around the building are exceptionally designed.  Have a magical day Suzanne!
