Welcome to planDisney Elizabeth!
When visiting Walt Disney World, there is so much to explore. There are theme parks, mini-golf, water parks,
Disney Springs, and of course all the lovely resorts around property!
You are welcome to visit the many
Walt Disney World resort hotels. The easiest way to reach the different resorts is by using the complimentary Disney transportation which includes buses, monorails, boats, and the
Disney Skyliner.
A few notes about resort hopping: Feel free to shop, dine, and explore resorts, however the pools are for guests of that hotel exclusively so no need to bring your swimsuit! Also, parking is limited so stick to the Disney transportation when zipping around. Parking at resort hotels is reserved for registered guests and those with
dining reservations.
All of the resorts have something special to explore, but I really think
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a "must see" with its beautiful lobby and views of the savannah as you walk out the back doors of the main building. I am also partial to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort with its tropical vibe and views of the Magic Kingdom from the beach. There are just so many amazing options!
Have fun resort hopping! You might just find a new favorite place to stay during your next Walt Disney World vacation!
