Is it possible to utilize the parking shuttle from the parkade without having a parking ticket? That is, if few are staying at a hotel near a Disney parkade, can we hop on the shuttle for free?

    Hiya, Melissa!

You betcha! All guests of the Disneyland Resort are welcome to ride the complimentary buses and trams to the theme park parking areas. Although, you may find that pedestrian access to the loading areas may require some backtracking. For example, guests traveling south on Disneyland Drive from W Ball Road will need to walk all the way past the parking structures before they can cross the intersection with Magic Way to access the pedestrian bridge that leads back to the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and Pixar Pals Parking Structure. Access to the bus loading area of the Toy Story Lot is not available from W Katella Avenue. And access from S Harbor Boulevard is actually pretty far offset from the street that I don’t believe there is any significant benefit to walking to the buses versus simply walking the entire distance to the parks.

Tony’s Tip: To get a feel for how to navigate around the Disneyland Resort, maps of the area are available online and in the Disneyland Mobile App

To help save even more steps during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, I recommend adding Disney MaxPass to your theme park tickets. Using MaxPass, you will no longer need to visit the Disney FASTPASS distribution points to make FASTPASS selections. Simply make a few taps in the Disneyland Mobile App. That is where you can also find access to your Disney PhotoPass photos. Digital downloads of all your photos are complimentary when you purchase Disney MaxPass.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa. Please come again if you have any more questions.
