    Is it possible to upgrade to the lightening pass option AFTER the ticket is purchased and you are currently in the park?

    I’m happy to let you know that you are able to add Disney Genie+ to your tickets at any time. Follow the steps below to learn how to add Disney Genie+ to your tickets EVEN if you are currently at the theme parks! 

    -Open the My Disney Experience Mobile App and log in. 
    -Select the three lines icon in the bottom righthand corner of your screen.
    -Select the “My Genie Day” option.
    -Select the day you’d like to add Disney Genie+ by selecting the “Change Day” option at the top of the page. 
    -Select the “Get Disney Genie+ for Today” option within the purple banner.
    -Add Disney Genie+ to your day by following the prompts and purchasing. 

    You can do this for any day you would like to! With over 40 attractions for you to enjoy the Lighting Lane service on through Disney Genie+, you’re going to get the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
