Is it possible to upgrade my Disney pass? I had downgraded and I want to go back to Inspire.

Hi I-Chen! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

I hope you've been enjoying your year of increased access to the magic of Disneyland Resort! I became a Magic Key holder for the first time this year, and I love the discounts and perks. As a family that loves to dine while we're visiting the parks, we especially appreciate the dining discount at select locations. Be sure you're following the official Disneyland Magic Key blog. I've found it to be an incredible resource with updates on all the exciting new things you can expect on your next visit to the parks as a Magic Key holder. Sometimes there's a great exclusive you can pick up while supplies last. I grabbed a super fun collectible pin the last time I was there. There's always something new to explore!

Sales of new Magic Key passes are currently paused, but the good news is that you still have the option to upgrade or downgrade your Magic Key when you are in the renewal window. If you're not currently in that window of 30 days prior to expiration, you will need to wait to make the upgrade to Inspire. You can check if your pass is ready to be renewed. Simply scroll to the bottom of the renewal page. It will say "Passes Not Available for Renewal" if you're not in the renewal window.

If you ever have questions associated with your Magic Key, you can always speak with a helpful Cast Member on the dedicated Magic Key Holders phone line. They're ready to assist you!

    I hope this helps.
