Is it possible for two adults staying in the same hotel room to have the dining plan, even though one person has an annual pass and the other would need to buy tickets for the days they are visiting? My first WDW trip will (hopefully) be in September 2022.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan!

Disney Dining Plans are temporarily suspended at this time due to modified Theme Park operations to keep all Guests and Cast Members safe and healthy. In the past, you were able to add any of the Disney Dining Plans to your room-only Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation by calling a Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Cast Member.  Adding this upgrade would then change your room-only reservation into a Vacation Package, and the terms and conditions would change accordingly. You did have to purchase the Disney Dining Plan for each person on your room reservation. However, going forward, the details are unclear if this will be again possible once the Disney Dining Plan becomes available. It is hard to know now what your options will be a couple of years from now. Be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for updates regarding the Disney Dining Plan and more to help plan your visit.

Megan, please stop by again with any more questions that may arise as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
