Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Ira. It looks like you'll be heading to the Walt Disney World Resort in only a few days! I bet you're super excited. I know I would be!
Let's chat about your question.
It is possible to reassign an unused Theme Park Ticket to another Guest on your Family & Friends list, even if that ticket is currently being used to secure a Theme Park Reservation. When you reassign the unused ticket, however, that existing Theme Park Reservation will be canceled because the reservation is tied to the ticket holder, not really the ticket itself. But that's ok! After you've reassigned the ticket, you can create a new Theme Park Reservation for the new ticket holder.
To reassign an unused Theme Park Ticket, find the ticket you wish to modify on your
My Disney Experience account online. Click on the "Reassign Ticket" link to the right of the ticket. Select the person you'd like to reassign the ticket to from the drop-down list and follow the prompts to confirm the transfer! Once the Theme Park Ticket is linked to the new Guest, you can go ahead and make any
Theme Park Reservations for that Guest via the Disney Park Pass System.
Your upcoming visit is the perfect time to experience
The World's Most Magical Celebration. There's lots of new magic to discover in theme parks, including two new nighttime spectaculars.
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonious at EPCOT are not to be missed!
I hope this was helpful, Ira. I'm wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
