Is it possible to get a tour of one of the bakeries. My wife is opening a bakery in our hometown that employs adults with disabilities and we would love a tour of the best bakery in the world @ WDW!!! Any possible way this could happen?

    Heigh-Ho Justin,

Wow! I just read your question and love hEARing about your wife's bakery. I can only imagine the joy and good and sweetness it will bring to the community. Walt Disney World is home to many delightfully magical bakeries and while tours are not available I encourage you to explore, partake and surround yourselves in some bakery inspiration. Walt Disney World's baked goods range from the nostalgic to the seasonal and the creative to the worldly so indulge yourselves in some scrumptious, creative and unique baked treats. Snap photos for inspiration and share your story with a Cast Member and the hopes to meet one of the bakers. You never know if one is in the shop and it never hurts to ask. You could easily spend several days discovering and taste testing what's inside every display shelf. And because you are visiting during Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary check out the Disney Parks Blog for some celebratory treats being offered all around the Walt Disney World Resort. I suggest making an Adventurous Bakery Plan, below is a list of favorites both well-known and hidden little gems to inspire you both.

Main Street Confectionery (Magic Kingdom Park)
Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie (Epcot)
    Amorette's Patisserie (Disney Springs)
    Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (Epcot)
    Disney's Candy Cauldron (Disney Springs)
    Gideon's Bakehouse (Disney Springs)
    Boardwalk Bakery (Disney's Boardwalk)

I am sending much Faith, Trust, Pixie Dust and many well wishes to your wife's amazing adventure, it is sure to be a magical success and an inspirational beginning for all involved.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
