Crossing the Finish Line

Heather from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is it possible to still get tickets to the wine and dine 5k for November 2023 even though it is already sold out?

    Hi Heather! Welcome to planDisney.

Every mile is truly magic when we are talking about runDisney events. As an avid runDisney fan, I want every Disney fan and runner to experience the immersive fun of running through the parks with unique character stops and entertainment on the course. At this time, all run events are indeed sold out for the runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.

Once in a while, you may see runDisney "open" up registration for a brief period of time, but I do caution those moments are few and far between. I suggest you sign up for social media runDisney fan groups. These fellow runners will often post if availability suddenly appears. You could also consider contacting a charity group and raising money for a good cause and earning your entry bib.

While I know nothing can compare to running your race at Walt Disney World Resort, you could also consider completing your runDisney Wine & Dine 5K through a virtual registration. Your race package will include your finisher's medal, digital bib, and finisher's certificate, participant shirt, a tool kit to create mile markers, and a digital expo and event guide. There is nothing stopping you from still traveling to Walt Disney World to run your race around your resort or the Disney BoardWalk area. You could even celebrate your 3.1 Magical Miles by purchasing a Post-Race Party Ticket for an exclusive after-hours event.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
