Hi Chris! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you getting pretty excited about your
dining options of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation?
Yes, the majority of sit down
table-service restaurants all across Walt Disney World Resort do have the ability to box up a dish for later, be it leftovers or a brand new meal (or dessert!). In fact it's not uncommon to see a guest or two walking through Epcot's World Showcase with a full-size pizza pie from the famous
Via Napoli that they take back to their resort hotel to enjoy by the pool.
I will say to keep in mind that the majority of dishes were created to be enjoyed at that specific dining location. Many items have not been "tested for traveling" like the way a casual restaurant back home would do to determined which meals are better suited for their to-go menu. Also keep in mind that some
quick-service dining locations do serve similar options that can be found at their table-service counterparts. This includes some restaurant specialities like Tonga Toast, which can be found at both table-service Kona Cafe but also quick-service Capt. Cooks.
And as always, you are more than welcome to use the microwave in your resort hotel's quick service dining location to enjoy your meal later, no matter from where said meal came.
I hope this helped, Chris, and We'll See You Real Soon!
