Is it possible to get from the Swan to the Magic Kingdom via Monorail? Walk to Epcot and take the monorail from there? This will be our first time to Disney with our daughters ages 8 and 10. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Keith!
It is possible to get to Magic Kingdom via monorail, but not directly. You mention walking to EPCOT and taking the monorail from there, which you can certainly do. The only catch is that from the Swan, you enter EPCOT near the rear of the park. You would then have to walk to the front of the park to exit and get on the monorail. Then, once you arrive at the Ticket and Transportation Center, you would need to switch loading areas to get over to Magic Kingdom monorail. All doable, albeit it disjointed. The easiest way to Magic Kingdom from the Swan would be by taking a Disney bus.
If you don't mind a bit of walking, your plan would work, but it seems like a lot of walkinig before you even get to your destination.
Personally, I would save the wear and tear on the legs and take the bus. Let meknow if you need any further help by clicking on my Bio page on the Moms Panel site.
I wish you all a Magical first trip!! :)
