Bonjour Emily and welcome back to planDisney!
I'm so excited to see that you're planning a trip to
Disneyland Paris! Disneyland Park in particular is so beautiful and Sleeping Beauty Castle is, in my opinion, definitely "the fairest of them all."
My family are frequent visitors and have stayed at
Davy Crockett Ranch many times over the years. In fact, it's actually one of our favourite places to stay, mainly due its peaceful forest setting and the fabulous Blue Springs Pool. Aside from that, we also really like how the cabins offer a little more space than a hotel room with two bathrooms, which helps when everyone is trying to get ready in a morning and, the option to cook/prepare your own meals, which is a good thing if you're working to a budget.
Davy Crockett Ranch is located an approximate 15 minute drive away from the Disney Parks and there is no shuttle service available. For that reason, I would never personally stay there without having a car.
Although I have never attempted to book a taxi between there and the Disney Parks, I do believe that it is possible although, I have read that some drivers will only pick-up/drop-off at the main car park which could be a long walk away from your cabin, depending on its proximity to Reception.
Having stayed at all of the
Disney Hotels, apart from the Disneyland Hotel, I can honestly say that my family enjoyed our time at each and every one of them. You may find the other Disney Hotels a more convenient place to stay as they are all within walking distance with some which are a little further away, offering a free shuttle to the Disney Parks. In addition to this, there's also the added bonus of having a Disney character meet-and-greet available, at your very own hotel, each day.
Emily, no matter where you decide to stay, you are sure to have a wonderful time. Did you know that you'll arrive just in time to catch the last couple of days of the
Disney Music Festival? What perfect timing!
Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
