    Is it possible to split a trip between the Port Orleans Riverside Royal room and a POR standard room or a POFQ standard room? Is that split easier than a split with an outside resort?

     Aun, it sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How exciting! It's my pleasure to answer your questions today. 

     A few years ago, my family split a stay between Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. We loved that we got to explore two uniquely themed Resort hotels in just one vacation! I'm happy to tell you that you certainly may split a trip between a Royal Guest Room and a Standard Room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, or even include Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter in your "split-stay." 

     Splitting your time between two Resort hotels is easy! When we enjoyed our last split-stay, we took our luggage to Bell Services after checking out of the first hotel and asked that they be transferred to our next hotel. We then traveled to Disney Springs for shopping and a great lunch! From there, we traveled to our second Resort hotel, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, by ferryboat. Once we arrived, I called Bell Services at our new hotel, and they delivered our luggage right to our room! While splitting your stay between two room categories at one Resort hotel or between two Resort hotels that are within walking distance might be easier, rest assured that the transition is easily made, regardless of how you split your stay among Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
