Hi, Bethany! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to see us with another great question. Let's help you make the most of your Disney days!
I'm so glad you were able to take advantage of the Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket Offer. It's one of the best deals Disney offers us Floridians all year long, and I was truly excited when it came back this year. Who can say no to three days at the Walt Disney World Resort for such a great price?
So, here's how Walt Disney World tickets work. When you buy a ticket to the Walt Disney World theme parks, you can
reassign your ticket to someone else as long as it hasn't been used yet. Once it's used to enter a theme park the first time, that ticket is now linked to that Guest only and can't be transferred. Unfortunately, that means you wouldn't be able to share any subsequent days with someone else after that first use.
But if the friends you were hoping to share some Disney magic with also live here in the Sunshine State, you can share another great deal with them. Right now, Floridians can get a
40% discount on a 4-Day Florida Resident Ticket, so you can all plan a trip together and they can still save a little coin! One thing to note: unlike the Discover Disney tickets, these tickets will
expire seven days after the selected start date, so you and your pals will need to plan your four-day adventure all at once.
And don't forget, you need to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation before you hit the theme parks. Take a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar before you plan to visit, and make your reservations as early as you can!
While you're checking out the great perks for Floridians, Bethany, take a look at the
Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. Maybe you can go into full vacation mode for your Disney visit with a stay in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel!
I hope this helps you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Bethany. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
