Hey Howdy Hey Karla and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for stopping by with your question about shopping at the Walt Disney World Resort. As a Girldad of 3, a teen and tween in the mix, I feel as though food and merchandise are attractions themselves and need time dedicated to each. Let's go over some great places to get a little shopping done!
I am sorry to say that unfortunately, you would need a Theme Park Ticket to enter the parks no matter your intention. If shopping is all that you want to do on a particular day you are not in the parks, I do have a few recommendations for places to check out.
The first place you want to check out is over at
Disney Springs. This shopping and entertainment district has so many options for merchandise. Everything from your favorite brands, new brands you may not have heard of and even shops specific to Disney.
World of Disney is the largest Disney shop on the property and is full of big-time souvenirs as well as so much more you didn't know you were looking for! This can be a great way to spend an afternoon or evening just roaming around the district for a bite and shopping.
Other places you are going to want to check out for Disney-specific merchandise are at the resorts. All resorts have a shop and all usually have some traditional favorites as well as resort-specific offerings. The resorts around Magic Kingdom are some of the best shops our family loves to roam around in as well as enjoying some of the many snacks and treats available at each resort. You can also hop aboard the
Disney Skyliner to visit Disney's Riviera Resort or Disney's Art of Animation for some great shopping options as well.
I am sorry to deliver the bad news on shopping passes, but hopefully, with the options presented, you can find the merchandise you are looking for as well as a nice way to enjoy the many resorts. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
