Hello Again, Carla! So glad to see you back in port so soon! That's what we here on the Disney Cruise Line side of planDisney call a "double dip!" Just like itineraries with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay, coming to us for planning help is ALWAYS a good idea!
Senses Spa & Salon is home to some of my favorite memories on the ships because of how it always manages to take the an already relaxing Disney Cruise Line vacation to the next level!
For me, a perfect day aboard
any of the ships of the Disney Cruise Line fleet needs three things: a movie on Funnel Vision while snagging an ice cream topside, a room service order of chicken wings, and swinging by Senses Spa & Salon (or checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app) for the "Treatment of the Day!"
Like the "drink of the day" and other daily specials around the ship, I've seen the "Treatment of the Day" (also sometimes referred to as "Spa Specials") take the form of anything from a discounted treatment, to special treatments not typically offered to reserve before the cruise, to a bundle of treatments usually not available to book together in a package! In my experience, It's definitely worth it to keep a weather eye open and make time to stop by Deck 11, Forward for a quick moment out of the sun!
Or, if you are on the move and headed to some onboard fun like a session of trivia or a first-run movie in the
Buena Vista Theater, you can open up the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to check the daily schedule! That's actually one of my favorite things about the expanded Navigator app - there's even more information than ever before right at your fingertips!
Whether you decide to snag a great deal, are surprised by a new treatment, or simply want to jump on an opening for a treatment you weren't able to book before embarking, keeping a weather eye on the happenings at Senses Spa & Salon is always a good idea in my book!
I hope between this and the Rainforest Room we talked about last time you dropped me a line, you get to spend a lot of time relaxing and letting the world just sail by on your cruise next month! Sure seems to me like you'll be one of the most - if not THE most - relaxed Guest aboard the Disney Dream that week. They should make medals for that!
Thank you again for stopping by planDisney with your question, Carla! While I know it seems just like yesterday that I wished you a happy vacation...probably because it was...I wish you a happy vacation!
Fair winds and following seas,
Andrew
