Hi Sarah!
It sounds like you
Aaaaaaaaargh wanting to fill a day with Swashbuckling fun!
While it's certainly possible to fit all those great activities into one day, you may not be able to do them in that
exact order. I do however, have an additional recommendation that would tie in very well to your Pirate Day and allow your son the opportunity to get the most fun out of his Pirate Makeover.
Disney's Pirate Adventure begins at approximately 9:30am on its days of operation from the Grand Floridian, so you'll need to arrive to check your Pirate in at 9:00-9:15am. He'll receive a Pirate bandana to wear during the adventure cruise. Call (407) WDW-DINE to check for availability and reserve your spot as far as 180 days out. Consider a breakfast reservation for yourself at the Grand Floridian Cafe while your son is off on his adventure!
Once you've secured your Pirate Adventure spot, consider a reservation at The Pirates League for no earlier than 12:15/12:30pm that same day. This will allow your Pirate enough time to return from his adventure and for you all to travel by boat or monorail to Magic Kingdom. He'll get to parade through Adventureland later that afternoon. Call (407) WDW-CREW to reserve, or do so during the same phone call you make for the Pirate Adventure.
Now ... here's where the extra fun begins!
Consider finishing your day on the
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage! It's one of my family's very favourite ways to spend the evening together, and the perfect way to end your Pirate Day! Reservations should be made in advance at (407) WDW-PLAY.
Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Sarah!
