Is it possible to use Sam’s e-gift Disney gift card for payment on Disney World vacation plans?

Hiya, Edgwyna. Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. I'm happy to help!

So I have a confession to make. I sometimes become a Disney Gift Card collector. A lot of times if someone doesn't know what to get me for my birthday or a holiday, I tell them to just get me a Disney Gift Card. After all, I know I am going to use it at some point! And I also know that some stores offer a discount on these gift cards too. And that just seems like a win-win!

As long as what you are purchasing is an official Disney Gift Card, you will likely be able to use it to make a payment on the Walt Disney World Resort website. If the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is listed as a place you can use the gift card, you should be good! Just keep in mind that you can only use one Disney Gift Card per transaction. However, you can usually combine balances, up to $1,000, on the Disney Gift Card website. And if you want to use more than one gift card because it's just preferable to you or you are using gift cards with a total of more than $1,000, you can always call a friendly Cast Member at the resort and they'd be happy to help!

There are so many exciting things going on at the Walt Disney World Resort right now and there's even more to come! TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise has taken Magic Kingdom Park by storm. It's truly an awesome experience and you should absolutely check it out when you're there. Plus, by the end of 2023, the EPCOT transformation should be complete with a new nighttime spectacular, a new home for concerts and meet and greets, and the brand-new Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana walkthrough experience. Not to mention that the Disney Dining Plan is coming back with vacations starting on January 9, 2024, or later!

Edgwyna, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. There's no telling how far I'll go to find the answer!

The past shouldn’t be feared for it guides our future,
    Matt
