Hello Ian! Welcome to planDisney with the best action-packed question! I love this! Oh, where to begin? It sounds like you are interested in a "4 Parks in 1 Day Challenge!" On my end of the computer, I feel like that meme of Kermit the Frog running around and cheering, "Yay!"
I would win a medal if the 4 Park Challenges were an Olympic sport! In fact, I just returned from my latest one, where I had to visit all four parks and do something that started with every letter of the alphabet.
So, let's get to your question because a "Thrill Ride-4 Parks in 1 Day Challenge" sounds like we could be Disney best friends, and I may have to steal your idea.
One thing I have learned from completing challenges like this is that:
- Transportation takes time.
- If a ride is temporarily down, it can take a lot of your time.
- Weather and crowds make a big difference.
- Wear comfortable shoes!
With all that in mind, this may be possible with the proper planning and strategic use of
Lightning Lane Passes. Without Lightning Lane Passes, this may not be easy.
I've been brainstorming how to tackle this challenge. I would only attempt it with Lightning Lane Passes. Thinking like Jack Sparrow, with my compass and pirate map in hand, here's how I would plot my course with my park-hopping ticket:
I would start at Magic Kingdom. I'd rope drop Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, get a Lightning Lane Single Pass for
TRON Lightcycle / Run, and wait in line for Space Mountain. Don't forget about The Barnstormer!
Next, I'd hop over to Animal Kingdom. Without a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you could take a chunk of time and wait in line for Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest, and it would still be okay.
At EPCOT, you only have
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to check off your list, and I would get a Lightning Lane Single Pass.
I would complete my challenge at Hollywood Studios using a
Lightning Lane Premier Pass. At Hollywood Studios, you need to experience the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance, Rock' n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and Slinky Dog Dash. With a Premier Pass, you can enjoy these rides at your convenience and include
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in your lineup.
Wow, what a day! There are lots of strategies you could take. Regarding transportation, The
Disney Skyliner does not go from theme park to theme park. The
Monorail only connects EPCOT to Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom is only accessible by bus. You would need to reconsider your transportation plan, and if you get a solid plan together, you can always reach out to me, and I can help you!
Ian, this is the longest answer I've ever typed, but you are speaking my love language with a "park challenge," and I'd love to see you succeed. Please reach out to me anytime! I'm happy to help!
Ride like the wind, Bullseye!
