Hi there, Scott!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I just know that you and your crew are counting down the days until you step into the magic in December. Let's get into how you can make the most out of your trip using your theme park tickets with a
Park Hopper option.
When you have the Park Hopper option added to your theme park ticket, you will only need a theme park reservation for your first destination. Once the clock strikes 2 p.m., you will be able to park hop to another theme park. For example, if you're hanging out at my favorite park,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which usually opens earlier in the day, you can simply scan into
EPCOT without any worries later on in the day. (By the way, if you're up for a thrilling space quest, you cannot miss EPCOT's
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!)
Of course, the theme parks that you want to visit later could hit capacity. But Hakuna Matata, Scott! Trust me: This doesn't happen terribly often. If it does indeed occur, you'll have other theme parks to choose to hop to. And just be sure to start another day of your vacation at the theme park that you couldn't experience.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you decide to revisit Walt Disney World Resort after January 9, 2024, you'll be happy to hear that there will
no longer be a set time to park hop. After you've checked into the first theme park, you're free to head over to any other theme park at any time before its closing.
Scott, any one of us here at planDisney would be more than happy to
answer your questions and provide suggestions for your upcoming vacation. Enjoy the holidays at The Most Magical Place on Earth, and see ya real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
