Welcome to planDisney, and congratulations on your upcoming engagement! I love that you are trying to incorporate your girlfriend's favorite Disney Character in the special moment. You sound very thoughtful!
Disneyland Resort does not typically assist with
engagements, although sometimes a sweet Cast Member will help out if they can. The locations and times of Disney Characters can usually be found each day on the
Disneyland app. This generally needs to be reviewed the "day-of," but you could check the app every day for a week or two and see if you notice any common patterns for appearances. The only time that I have seen Stitch in the parks recently was during
Stitch's Interplanetary Beach Party Blast this summer, but that has ended for the season. I'm sorry!
I'm not sure if any of the Disney Characters can be directly involved in an engagement, but you could try speaking with a
Disney PhotoPass Photographer who is taking photos of a Disney Character to see if they can capture your special moment. PhotoPass Photographer locations can be found on the Disneyland app.
My favorite spot for an engagement is Snow White's Grotto in Disneyland Park. This romantic area tends to be quiet, and it offers a beautiful backdrop. Sometimes Disney Characters greet Guests there, as well. You would probably need a friend or someone else to film the engagement, though, as PhotoPass Photographers aren't typically located there in my experience.
Over in Disney California Adventure Park, I think a lovely proposal location would be during the
World of Color Dessert Party. Not only would this be a special experience to celebrate the occasion, but it is also spacious and has the amazing World of Color in the background. To avoid interrupting the show for other Guests, I would suggest trying to propose before it begins or during the closing music. You may want to quietly double-check with the Cast Member there to make sure it is ok (and maybe they can even take a photo for you!).
