Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!
I absolutely love staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. It's truly one of the most exciting aspects of any Walt Disney World trip. With their detailed theming, unique storytelling, and second-to-none customer service, they really immerse you in the magic from start to finish. The benefits of staying on property always sprinkle that extra pixie dust on my vacations. I know you're going to have a "practically perfect" time.
But "let's get down to business." If you book a hotel room that doesn't have a microwave listed as an amenity, then I would advise you to contact the resort you're staying at and request a microwave in your room. You can ask Guest Services to make a notation on your Guest room file. When you check into your Disney Resort hotel, you can mention to a Cast Member at the Front Desk that you requested a microwave in your room. Cast Members are truly amazing and they will try their best to accommodate you. However, I will say that there are no guarantees. Due to a variety of factors, it might not be possible.
When it comes to toasters, due to safety reasons, toasters aren't permitted in the rooms of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Oh, bother!
You might find it helpful to know that there are microwaves (and usually toasters) available at the food courts in the Disney Resorts. As a Guest of the hotel, you'd be free to use these microwaves and toasters during the food court operating hours. Obviously, this means leaving your room, which might not be super convenient. However, the option is there for you, if you want it.
I hope that's helpful, Jennifer! In the words of Sally from Cars, "I hope you find what you're looking for." Thanks for stopping by
planDisney.
