    Is it possible to request a certain building at the Caribbean Beach resort before our stay?

    Hello, Emily. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. 

    I am excited to see that you'll be staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort during your Walt Disney World vacation. It's actually one of my very favorite resorts and the one we frequent the most! I just know you are going to have a great time there. Guests are able to check-in online to their resort up to 60 days in advance via your My Disney Experience account. I'd recommend setting a reminder on your phone for this day and doing it in the morning. While you are checking in online, there will be a section for requests. This is the area where you can request a certain building if you'd like. You can also call a speak with a Cast Member and have the requested noted on your account that way. Requests are never guaranteed, but I think Cast Members do a great job of trying to honor them if at all possible. The sooner you get that request noted on your account, the better in my opinion. 

    While you are staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I hope you've scheduled in some pool time. The pool is actually my favorite spot to be while staying there. It's a zero-entry pool which is great for Guests of all ages and has two really fun waterslides. Not to mention that the newly redone Banana Cabana Pool Bar is absolutely beautiful and my favorite spot to sit and have a Mickey Waffle in the mornings. I hope you'll get to enjoy it too!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
