Is it possible to rent a trailer at Fort Wilderness

Hi Shelley! Fort Wilderness has become a popular destination for many reasons. With prices going up everywhere including the Fort it still proves to be one of the most economical resorts. Unfortunately, you must have some sort of RV to enjoy the amenities it has to offer.

Disney does not have rentals for its guests at Fort Wilderness. There are several companies in the area that do rent trailers and 5th Wheels and will actually deliver and hook them up for you. Most will come completely furnished with a few of them not including the linens. You will be given a quick lesson about the sewer and water hook ups and you must listen carefully as this will be the most important aspect to renting one of them.

Some of the companies will also include bringing in a golf cart for you to rent and use during your stay. One of the things to make sure you ask any of the companies is if they are available 24 hours a day in case of something going wrong. Disney does not offer assistance with privately owned RV's. They will only be there for you if something is wrong with the common electric, water, or sewer system.

We are seasoned motor coach owners and love the Fort for our stay. It is peaceful and offers things that no other Disney resort can offer.

These are some of the local companies you can contact for further information about rentals.
