Is it possible to rent an EVC for a week like you can a stroller?

    Hey there, Debra!

I frequently visit the parks with my in-laws who; although they are able to get around each day, are not quite up for all the walking that comes with a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. One of my favorite things about renting an ECV is that you can actually bring it in the majority of ride lines! This helps my in-laws not get exhausted as quickly from the fun of the day.

You are able to rent an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle (ECV ) during your trip. To rent your ECV, you will have two primary options.

Your first option will be to rent an ECV inside the theme park itself. Rental locations are located inside the front gates of each of the four theme parks. Rentals are currently $50 per day, but prices are subject to change.

Now, Debra, when you rent an ECV inside the parks, you must rent a new one each day, and it may not leave the parks. Unlike stroller rentals, there is no length of stay rental option for an ECV.

To reduce the amount of valuable ride time each morning, and to help with the amount of walking each day at your Disney Resorts Collection property, I actually recommend renting an ECV from a third-party vendor. While there is no shortage of companies to rent from, ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider and the only company able to drop off your ECV at bell services at your Disney Collection Resort.

I hope that this gave you a bit of insight, Debra! Please come back here if we can answer any other questions for you.

    See you real soon!
