Is it possible to rent a car at Disneyworld? We will not be taking the Magical Expess at the end of our stay.

    Hey Patricia-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. September will be here before you know it and you will be smelling those sweet candies made at the Main Street Confectionery and giving Mickey Mouse a long awaited hug. I love the planning phase of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Last fall we were in the exact same situation and needed a car to do some local site seeing.

You may rent a car at the Car Care Center or at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel (car rentals from Alamo and National). These locations are just moments away from your resort. As soon as you decide you want the car, give them a call. There is complimentary shuttle service from all resorts to the Car Care Center.

Disney Dad Tip: Since know the day you will need a car don't hesitate to make a reservation. A last minute decision may mean decreased inventory for the type of vehicle you need or even unavailability.

Patricia, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
