Hello! Is it possible to register for the WDW Marathon but then upgrade to the Goofy Race after some additional training? If so, how much will this cost? Lastly, why is the cost of the Goofy $20 more than if I registered for each race separately? Thanks!

Hi Tanya!  The 2013 Marathon (20th anniversary) weekend is going to be so fun!
Here is the official word from runDisney about transferring your entry:

"Entry fees for the 2013 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend events are non-refundable. The transfer deadline for all events is November 15, 2012. No exceptions will be made.    If you are currently registered for the 2013 Walt Disney World® Half Marathon, Walt Disney World® Marathon or Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge, you may transfer your registration to one of the other two races, subject to availability, on or before November 15, 2012. A transfer fee of $25 will be charged per transfer. Transfers are not allowed for the Disney Family Fun Run 5K featuring or runDisney Kids' Races events. Race entries cannot be transferred to another person."

As for the $20 price difference; that is because with the Goofy Challenge entry, you will receive a third shirt and a third medal.
I hope this helps answer your question!  Let me know if you have any others, and good luck with your training!
