Hello. Is it possible to redeem 1 counter service credit and split the meal between 2 people at Pizzafari's family style dinner location ? Do I make an ADR for 2 and upon arrival advise 1 dining credit will be used? Thank you for your help!

    Hi Wendy!

The Family Style Dining at Pizzafari in Disney's Animal Kingdom is a great option for dinner!  I have done this with my family several times and find it to be a great value and one of the best uses for a Quick-Service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan.

This dining experience is a bit different than the rest of the Quick-Service restaurants in that you pay at the beginning, pick up your drinks and salad and then are seated at your table.  A server then brings out the rest of your entrees and desserts.  Even though this is considered a Quick-Service restaurant and you can normally share a Quick-Service meal at your classic walk-up and order restaurants, it is classified as a family-style experience, so sharing is not allowed.  We have always had leftover food at the end of our meal and were given boxes to take what we didn't eat with us for yummy leftovers later.

Another perk that makes this Quick-Service dinner unique is that they take reservations!  The other two Quick-Service restaurants at this time that take reservations are Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park for breakfast and lunch and ABC Commissary in Disney's Hollywood Studios for dinner, which just started last month.

Please stop back by and visit us if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
